Common questions

Which SIOC type applies to my product?

Weight and how Amazon moves it. Under 50 lb by parcel is Type A; 50 to 100 lb is Type B; 100 lb or more by parcel is Type C. If Amazon ships it LTL - over 150 lb, any dimension over 108 in, girth over 165 in, or palletized - it is Type D, E or F. Our test selector works it out from four answers.

Will an ISTA 3A report satisfy Amazon?

No. Amazon mandates its own Series 6 program for vendor packaging qualification.

Not certain ISTA 6-Amazon.com SIOC is the right test?

Answer a few questions about what you ship and we will tell you which standard applies — and why the others do not.
