The general-simulation baseline for anything that travels as a single parcel. If you sell direct to consumers and nobody has mandated a specific program, this is almost always the test.

Common questions

Does ISTA 3A cover me for Amazon?

No. Amazon requires its own ISTA Series 6 program. 3A is the right test for general parcel distribution.

What does the sequence involve?

Atmospheric conditioning, a drop sequence, random vibration with and without top load, compression, and a second drop sequence after vibration - so the package is assessed after it has already been stressed.

Not certain ISTA 3A is the right test?

Answer a few questions about what you ship and we will tell you which standard applies — and why the others do not.
